Dr. AK Mathur

Dr A.K. Mathur, MBBS, MS, FCLS was Senior Professor and head of unit of General Surgery at SMS Medical College and attached hospitals, Jaipur (2004-2011). Later he served as Professor and Head Department of Surgery JNU Medical college, Jaipur (2016-2021). He has over 45 years of experience in open Gastro Intestinal Surgery and laparoscopic surgery procedures. Dr AK Mathur is founder President of Rajasthan association of minimal access surgeons (RAMAS). Since its formation in 2006, it regularly holds live operative workshops in different parts of Rajasthan to train large number of surgeons so that basic minimal access surgery is made available in districts, towns and villages to poor patients living in rural tribal and peripheral areas at affordable price.
